The Enclave Concept - Articles Surfing

Built in the United States, Canada, and China by the General Motors Corporation, the Buick is a brand of vehicles that are sold in North America, China, Taiwan, and Israel. This brand originated as an independent motor car manufacturer, the Buick Motor Company, however was taken over by James Whiting in 1904 when the company was struggling. Soon after that, the brand soon became one of the largest car manufacturers in America. Come 1929, the Buick brand then launched the Marquette that was specifically designed to help bridge the price gap between the Buick and the Oldsmobile. The Buick is more often than not targeted towards customers who are comfortably well off, who are possibly not quite rich enough to be able to afford a Cadillac, but definitely in the market for a car that is cut above the norm.

The emblem of this vehicle brand consists of three shields, each of these is bisected diagonally to the right by a straight line. The shields are arranged touching each other in a left-diagonal pattern inside a circle. The colors are strategically designed. The leftmost shield is red, the middle shield is white, and the rightmost shield is colored blue, although the white color is sometimes represented by light gray. This is more commonly known as the Trishield, which was adopted in 1959.

One of the vehicles that bear this emblem and also bears the Buick lore is the Buick Enclave. People have conjured up that the name that this vehicle holds, Enclave, evokes images of style, luxury, and the privacy of a quiet, and protected space. This is a concept vehicle that is similar to the GMC Acadia and the Saturn Outlook. A midsize crossover SUV, this vehicle will be launched late this year for the year 2007. It was initially previewed at the 2006 North American International Auto Show. It has the General Motors* new Lambda architecture and is the first Lambda vehicle to be displayed.

The Buick Enclave is destined to replace both of Buick's current SUVs which includes the minivan-based Rendezvous and the truck-based Rainier. It holds features like a seating capacity for eight people, a generous interior space, and either a front-wheel driver or an all-wheel drive. It sure holds luxury in itself and combines the athletic proportion of a modern crossover vehicle with the romantic forms that is characterized by Buick's rich design heritage. This vehicle delivers superior attention to detail, with its engineering carrying an innovative level of interior flexibility. It has a skylight that extends to almost the entire length of the passenger compartment. The Buick Enclave also has a unique in-dash/in-seat/overhead DVD system that allows passengers* viewing of up to four different DVD selections at once. It also offers passengers the ultimate in personalized, in-vehicle entertainment.
